(North Bethesda, MD)—BETAH Associates has been awarded a contract to assist the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) in its mission to apply a science perspective to the justice system. The contract, a blanket purchase agreement with a ceiling of up to $31 million, has a base performance period of one year plus four 12-month option periods.
BETAH will assist NIJ in conducting its rigorous portfolio of applied research on crime and justice, managing logistics and providing support for all phases of NIJ programs and initiatives. Tasks include managing meetings, conferences, and travel for new and ongoing extramural and intramural research; overseeing consultant assignments and other vital program support; and securing the expertise necessary to produce top-quality reports, analyses, and reviews.
